market. Its importance for the national economy is reviewed. There is an analysis of a
structure of this market, a state of a competitive environment and shares of its main players.
The key trends, which are characteristic for the Ukrainian mobile communication market, are
determined. The range of problems that hinder its growth are outlined. There are perspectives
for future development given in the article. Conclusions about probable changes in the market
in conditions of adaptation to world realities of the industry are made.
