Анотація
This article focuses on Polish-Ukrainian contacts-related experience accumulated by the regional government of Donetsk Oblast and the academic circles of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University. The researched documents show that the unique Donetsk experience was deemed useful by other regions, such as Vinnytsia Oblast. The results of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation strengthened Ukraine’s economy and education practices and extended the scope of Ukrainian interaction with the EU, despite some long-standing historical disagreements with the Poles.
