dc.descriptionThe scholarly investigation presents a multifunctional pragmatic scientific paradigm of knowledge and is carried out in the context of lexical-semantic neology: it concerns the word-formation and semantic derivation of neologisms derived from Anglicisms Scopus / Скопус і Hirsch / Гірш / Хірш. The relevance of this scholarly study is motivated by the need for a systematic examination of the process of neologisation in the Ukrainian language, which is carried out, in particular, through the discussion of the phenomenon of scientometrics as an important extralinguistic factor. The article aims to demonstrate the uniqueness of Ukrainian word formation, which is projected onto the nomination of the phenomenon of scientometrics. It is proven that in the Ukrainian linguistic space, Anglicisms and their derivatives function to name phenomena related to the concept of scientometrics and that, in addition to their semantic content, they carry a range of pragmatically negatively coloured meanings. It is confirmed that global trends towards internationalisation and globalisation are traced in the Ukrainian language, including the Americanization of society, which attests to the modelling of a unique hybrid global linguoculture. It, in particular, poses a certain threat to the organic development of the Ukrainian language and linguoculture. The neologisms, occasionalisms, and potential words discussed present the pragmatics of negativity, modelling an ironic, contemptuous, mocking, derisive, sarcastic, and biting tone, considering their modifications, which are realised through the graphic technique of quotation marks, the presentation of specific paradigmatic and syntagmatic relationships, as well as the linguistic thought of Ukrainians. It is reflected in modelling a system of associations and the actualisation of slang neologisms of both Ukrainian and English origin, which enter the structure of actualised generic-species relationships and function as hypernyms. The features of the verbalisation of precedent phenomena related to the scientometric dimension are demonstrated, with particular emphasis on actualising a system of precedent situations motivated by American linguoculture.
dc.description.abstractНаукова розвідка презентує поліфункційну прагматичну наукову парадигму знань і виконана в руслі лексико-семантичної неології: ідеться про словотвірну й семантичну деривацію неологізмів, похідних від англізмів Scopus / Скопус і Hirsch / Гірш / Хірш. Актуальність цієї наукової студії мотивована потре бою систематичного дослідження процесу неологізації української мови, що здійснюється, зокрема, і завдяки омовленню явища наукометричності як важливого екстралінгвального чинника. Мета статті – продемонструвати своєрідність словотворчості українців, що спроєктована на номінування феномена наукометричності. Доведено, що в українському мовному просторі для номінації явищ, пов’язаних із поняттям наукометричності, функціюють англізми та їх похідні, що, крім семантичного наповнення, містять низку прагматичних негативно забарвлених смислів. Підтверджено, що в українській мові простежено світові тенденції в прагненні до інтернаціоналізації та глобалізації, зокрема й американі зації суспільства, що засвідчує моделювання своєрідної гібридної світової лінгвокультури, яка, зокрема, містить і певну загрозу для органічного розвитку української мови та лінгвокультури. Розглянуті нео логізми, оказіоналізми та потенційні слова презентують прагматику негативу, моделюють іронійну, зневажливу, глузливу, глумливу, насмішкувату та ущипливу тональність з урахуванням їх модифікацій, що зреалізовується за допомогою графічного прийому лапкування, презентації специфічних парадигма тичних та синтагматичних зв’язків, а також мовомислення українців, що виявляється в моделюванні системи асоціацій та актуалізації сленгових новотворів українського та англійського походження, що входять у структуру актуалізованих родо-видових зв’язків і виконують функцію гіперонімів. Показано особливості вербалізації прецедентності, пов’язаної з наукометричним виміром, зокрема актуалізовано систему прецедентних ситуацій, мотивованих американською лінгвокультурою.
