dc.descriptionThe research focuses on key figures in Ukrainian linguistics, including V. Rusanivskyi as a phenomenon of the Soviet era and an elite Ukrainian linguist with a distinct psychobigraphy. This psychobiography is reflected in his scientific discourse and should be updated for a comprehensive representation of Ukrainian national historiography, characteristics of national research centres or schools, and awareness of the progress of national science. The basic methodological position of the theory of Ukrainian historiography is substantiated. In order to create an objective critical and respectful discourse on the comprehensive assessment of the scientist's activity, the epoch of his activity, values and ideological priorities must be consistently taken into account as they are uniquely fixed in his linguistic thinking, scientific style, discourse, his inherent speech strategies, and tactics. Characteristic features of the scientist's style are his tendency to philosophize, generalizations, successful verbalization of scientific aphorisms, modeling of intertextuality, imagery, clarity and caution in presenting the foundations of his theory. We trace the transformation of his scientific discourse which manifested itself in the days of Ukrainian independence: the nation-centrism of the scholar, the sense of tendencies of development of the Ukrainian language in new conditions, deep understanding of its potential, vision of the basic ways of the development of Ukrainian linguistics are actualized. V. Rusanivskyi's linguophilosophy is characterized by such features as consistent and deep historicism, the combination of diachrony and synchrony in understanding linguistic phenomena, reliance on linguistic facts, texts (discovery of previously unknown examples of Ukrainian writing), understanding of language dynamics, interaction and interrelation of levels the language system, dependence of language on internal (speech of Galicians and people from the east of Ukraine) and external interlingual contacts, the importance of the principle of functionalism, interdisciplinary, the role of linguistic factors, first of all, a psychological and ideological character in speech development, Ukrainian language identity etc.
dc.description.abstractУ фокусі національної історіографії схарактеризовано В. Русанівського як феномен радянської епохи з виразною психобіографією. Для створення об’єктивного критично-шанувального дискурсу щодо оцінки діяльності ученого необхідно враховувати епоху його діяльності, ціннісні орієнтири, ідеологічні пріоритети, оскільки зазначене зафіксоване в його лінгвофілософії (глибокий історизм, розуміння динаміки мови, функціоналізму, міжпредметності, ролі лінгвальних чинників та ін.), науковому стилі (схильність до узагальнень, вербалізація наукових афоризмів, моделювання інтертекстуальності, образності, чіткості, ясності і коректності викладу), притаманних йому мовленнєвих стратегіях і тактиках.
