dc.descriptionThe purpose of this article is to analyze the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in social media as a tool for conducting information warfare and to outline the main directions for countering disinformation in an open information environment. The research methodology is based on comparative and information-analytical approaches, employing general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, as well as elements of content analysis. The scientific novelty lies in the systematization of modern forms of using AI technologies in information warfare, particularly through social networks. Conclusions. The study substantiates that AI is increasingly used to exert influence through social media as a channel for information dissemination. Special attention is given to deepfake technologies, the generation of fake videos and visual content aimed at destabilizing society and undermining international reputation. An overview of current tools for detecting fake content is presented, including Sensity AI, Deepware Scanner, Fake Image Detector, among others. The importance of legal regulation of information warfare and the development of digital hygiene mechanisms among social media users is emphasized
dc.description.abstractМета статті. Проаналізувати особливості використання штучного інтелекту (ШІ) в соціальних мережах як інструменту ведення інформаційної війни, а також окреслити основні напрями протидії дезінформації в умовах відкритого інформаційного простору. Методологія дослідження ґрунтується на порівняльному й інформаційно-аналітичному підходах із застосуванням загальнонаукових методів аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення, а також елементів контент-аналізу. Наукова новизна полягає в систематизації сучасних форм використання технологій штучного інтелекту в інформаційній війні, зокрема через соціальні мережі. Висновки. У статті обґрунтовано, що ШІ дедалі частіше використовують як канал поширення інформації для впливу в соціальних мережах. Особливу увагу приділено технології дипфейків, генерації фейкових відео та візуального контенту для дестабілізації суспільства й підриву міжнародної репутації. Здійснено огляд актуальних інструментів виявлення фейків, як-от Sensity AI, Deepware Scanner, Fake Image etector та інші. Наголошено на важливості правового врегулювання питання інформаційної війни та розвитку механізмів цифрової гігієни серед користувачів соціальних платформ.
