- ДокументEffect of alimentary synthetic estrogen on cell compensatory mechanisms in rats of different ages(2017) Yermishev, Oleh; Lykholat, Tatyana; Lykholat, OlenaResults of a study of lipid peroxidation, antioxidant system components, and cholinergic neurotransmitter system in the organs of experimental rats of different ages exposed to alimentary synthetic estrogen are presented. Given the state of peroxidation processes and AChE activities in female rats exposed to xenoestrogen, it is possible to assume the possibility of the restructuring of the functioning of mediator and enzyme systems and additional strengthening of pathological symptoms. In the future, such phenomena may trigger the reduction of potential of compensatory mechanisms in compromising the health of the consumers. In puberty, females were more sensitive to nutritional synthetic estrogen than mature animals, thus proving that age is another factor in xenoestrogen exposure. Because of the changes in the rates of reactions to detoxification but not to the metabolism of estrogen received into the organism, particularly with food, with age the animals were less susceptible to the effects of these substances
- ДокументThe Method of Medical-Ecological Monitoring of Public Health and Environmentally Hazardous Areas(2020) Yermishev, OlehThe main subject of the study of the ecological and medical zoning method is the complex state of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) of the child's organism and the analysis of the processes affecting it. The ANS performs adaptational trophic function - the regulation of the metabolism regarding the conditions of the environment. The analysis of possible ecological problems of the territory and its degree of ecological disturbance can be made due to the received data set on the state of functional health of the children's population of a certain territory and the averaged information on the deviation of the autonomic nervous system. In order to assess the disturbance of the territory, the relative value of the breach of vegetative homeostasis, which is defined as a percentage, is of particular importance. Various organs and systems of the body are known to be associated with certain areas of the skin called acupuncture points. With the appearance of the smallest deviations in the systems of the body and organs, they react at the stage of functional disorders long before the occurrence of organic changes at the expense of meridional bonds. Measuring the electrosurgical resistance in certain acupuncture points you can detect changes in the body still at the stage of functional disorders. For researches, the method of “biogalvanization” of 24 symmetrical representative active functional zones (12 on the arms and 12 on the legs), which reflect the functional activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system has been used. This allows to record changes in the activity of sites of the ANS and to obtain systematic data that are subject to further complex analysis. The given method is unique and allows to conduct ecological analysis of the territory with the help of the target group of organisms - a person; method is non-invasive and low-cost, which allows conducting surveys of different age and sex groups and obtaining data with a minimum statistical error.
- ДокументModeling hay fever risk factors caused by pollen from Ambrosia spp. using pollen load mapping in Ukraine(2018) Rodinkova, Victoria; Palamarchuk, Olena; Toziuk, Olena; Yermishev, OlehThe paper provides a simulation of the occurrence of Ambrosia pollen in Ukraine both in terms of a determination of the regions with high pollen concentrations and the time when the high pollen load occurs. Simulation was performed using the SILAM system and the following pollen mapping using the Grid Analysis and Display System. Simulation results were compared with the aerobiological data available from six monitoring stations in Ukraine. A decrease in the concentrations of Ambrosia pollen, the duration of the Ambrosia season, and patient exposure to the Ambrosia pollen were apparent from SE to NW of Ukraine. A close correlation between the modeled and actually registered pollen concentration values and ragweed pollen release periods was observed in all the cities for which the Ambrosia pollen monitoring data had been collected. Further investigations are required to provide accurate forecasts for other types of airborne allergens.
- ДокументPeculiarities of functional-vegetative homeostasis of preschool-age females (first childhood)(2019) Yermishev, OlehIn the process of ontogenesis, individual organs and systems mature gradually completing their development in different periods of life. This heterochrony of maturation determines the features of organism-functioning in children of different ages. However, the data in scientific literature do not reveal the features of the vegetative status of preschool children. Therefore, the goal of our work was to determine the level of vegetative homeostasis, which indicates the ratio of sympathetic (YANG) and parasympathetic (YIN) functional activity of the autonomic nervous system in preschool children. The methodology of functional-vegetative diagnostics (FVD) elaborated by Professor V. G. Makats (2016) allowed identifying acupunctural channels and discovered a previously unknown human functional-vegetative system. The diagnostic complex “BIOTEST-12M” (Diagnostic complexes VITA-01-M and computerized system VITA-01-Biotest) serves as the technical tool of the FVD. The specific dynamics of increasing systemic-functional stabilization indicates the formation of age-related mechanisms of functional-vegetative homeostasis and the peculiarities of physiological development of preschool children. We found 28.5% of the surveyed preschool children in the zone of vegetative equilibrium, and 50% have parasympathicotonia. The sympathetic orientation of the levels of vegetative equilibrium by the years of life of preschool children in the female group (FG) is identical and indicates the multi-directional activity of individual systemic complexes.
- ДокументSeasonal changes in plant pollen concentrations over recent years in Vinnytsya, Central Ukraine(2018) Rodinkova, Victoria; Kremenska, Lilia; Palamarchuk, Olena; Motruk, Iryna; Alexandrova, Elena; Dudarenko, Oxana; Vakolyuk, Larysa; Yermishev, OlehThe control of plant pollen season patterns is especially important in the expectation of climate change, as the timing of potential varying pollen seasons affects the human population. An ever-increasing number of people suffer from hay fever symptoms with varying severity during the pollen season. This paper presents data on the seasonal variations of pollen concentration and the factors which are the likely causes of these variations in Vinnytsya, a city in Central Ukraine, in order to establish the apparent pattern of this variation and so improve the efficiency of hay fever control in Ukraine. Pollen counts were obtained by gravimetric and volumetric methods employing a Hirst-type volumetric spore trap. Alder (Alnus) and birch (Betula) peaks of pollen release occurred approximately 1 month earlier than was observed at the end of the twentieth century. This was due to the seasonal heat accumulation related to the appropriate temperature regimen registered in January and February prior to the growing season. Other trees – including poplar (Populus), maple (Acer), walnut (Juglans), common hazel (Corylus) – did not show distinct changes in pollen season pattern over the past decades. Mean daily temperature seems to be the leading factor promoting early season onset and a seasonal pollen peak shift of the grass and herb flora such as ragweed (Ambrosia). The shift of the ragweed seasonal pollen maximum towards later in the season correlated with higher temperatures during September. Our study has shown that droughts may also significantly decrease the ragweed pollen concentration.
- ДокументІntensity of oxygen consumption by bull sperm due to the action of L-carnitine(2017) Yermishev, Oleh; Koberska, ViktoriiaThe research is devoted to the study of peculiarities of oxygen consumption intensity and the activity of enzymes of antioxidant protection of bull sperm due to the action of L-carnitine. We used bull sperm that was mixed with sperm dilution for the “Bioexel” to the ratio 1:1. Diluted semen was divided into two parts – one control and three experimental. L-carnitine was added to the diluent in the amount of 10 mg/100 ml in part 2, 30 mg/100 ml in part 3, and 60 mg/100 ml in part 4; the sperm was dissolved in this liquid to the ratio of 3:1. The intensity of oxygen consumption, the activity of enzymes superoxidedismutase, catalase, glutathioneperoxidase and survival of spermatozoa were thoroughly investigated in the diluted semen. L-carnitine, which was added to the diluent of semen 10 and 30 mg/100 ml, stimulates aerobic glycolysis by 5.9 and 11.9%, and decreases oxidative processes by 5.6% and 11.4%, respectively. It is not related to the synthesis of ATP. It increases the survival of bull spermatozoa. The results of current research show that carnitine promotes a rise in the activity of CAT and GPO, and the activity of SOD decreases. We established that L-carnitine impacts the reduction of the overall consumption of oxygen by increasing the share of mitochondrial oxygen consumption and aerobic glycolysis, along with the decrease in free radical oxidation. It is probably related to the metabolic activation between the semen and the environment. We found that the optimal concentration of L-carnitine in the bull diluted sperm is 30 mg/100 ml.
