- ДокументPost-traumatic Stress Disorder: Modern Approach to Diagnostics, Therapy, Psychotherapy and Rehabilitation(TURKEY: University of Dicle, 2023) Victoriia Overchuk; Oksana Vdovichenko; Natalia Lapshova; Liudmyla Smokova; Uliana Varnava; Yuliia KorotsinskaAfter the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, psychogenic disorders are observed in a significant part of the military servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who have suffered as a result of participation in the armed conflict, as well as among the civilian population who have become participants or witnesses of traumatic events. The practice of organizing psychological assistance in Ukraine has shown that systematic psychological assistance is provided only to those who have been injured and are staying in military hospitals. The purpose of the academic paper lies in identifying the main features of the selection and application of modern approaches to diagnostics, therapy, psychotherapy and rehabilitation in PTSD cases based on the results of the analysis of the viewpoints of scientists regarding the selection and application of various research approaches to the process of providing assistance in the case of revealing such disorder, as well as and the study of practical aspects of the effectiveness of working with persons with PTSD. In the process of conducting the research, an analytical and bibliographic method has been used in order to study the scientific literature on the issues of diagnosing and providing assistance for PTSD patients and a questionnaire survey of specialists in the provision of psychological assistance. Based on the results of the work conducted, the main features of modern approaches to PTSD diagnostics, therapy, psychotherapy and rehabilitation have been analysed, as well as basic information has been prepared that can be used in the development of training programs for specialists in this field.

Both military personnel and persons who are representatives of other professional areas are subject to a significant influence of stressful factors in the conditions of military aggression leading to a violation of their mental activity, and, consequently, complete or partial loss of combat capability and ability to work. The effectiveness of overcoming stress in such a case is to a great extent determined by a person’s ability to use available individual psychological resources. The purpose of the academic paper is to systematize the scientists’ standpoints regarding the features of the individual style of overcoming stress during military aggression, as well as to clarify the practical features of the issue outlined. Methodology. In the course of the research, system-structural, analytical-bibliographic, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, analysis, synthesis, induction, and deduction were applied to process scientific information on applying individual psychological resources in war conditions. A questionnaire was used to study practical issues on the research topic. Along with this, idealization was used to study and process statistical, analytical data and the survey results. Results. Based on the research results, information in scientific works on applying individual psychological resources to overcome stress in the conditions of military aggression was selected and systematized; certain practical aspects of this process were also clarified.

Given the prevalent conditions of political and socio-economic instability in modern societies worldwide, understanding psychological security is of significant practical importance. This article examines the process of acquiring psychological security, which originates from the general perspective of ensuring human development and the need for self-preservation. Furthermore, the paper explores the role of sports activities in promoting the corrective aspect of psychological security. It highlights the positive impact of physical exercise on reducing stress, anxiety levels, and improving overall mental well-being. The research findings indicate that engaging in sports activities can help individuals cope with the adverse effects of political and socio-economic instability on their psychological health.
