One of the most difficult economic problems is the problem of evaluating intellectual capital, which is very difficult to measure. Currently, existing methods can provide an approximate estimate of the intellectual capital of market participants. These methods use indirect information and the level of verification of these methods is not very high. In these conditions, the task of assessing the level of intellectual capital, using the example of the business community using the methods of artificial intelligence, namely the methods of the theory of fuzzy logic, arose. The purpose of the article is to develop an economic mechanism for managing the intellectual capital of the business community, which will be built on the basis of artificial intelligence methods. The basis will be the business community "Board", which has more than 1,000 members. The elements of the assessment of the intellectual capital of the business community will be: participants, mentors, and management of the business community. Evaluation of mentors and business community leadership will be based on qualitative and quantitative information, and participant information will be calculated using the Tobin coefficient. As a result, an innovative model for assessing the intellectual capital of the business community was developed based on a hybrid intellectual system, which is built on soft computing methods and is able to process "non-rigorous", incomplete or distorted input data, work with qualitative concepts, ambiguous and undefined statements, perform operations with weakly formalized economic parameters. The developed hybrid neuro-fuzzy system for assessing the intellectual capital of the "Board" business community provides an opportunity to take into account the information provided in a quantitative or qualitative form. The obtained results made it possible to formulate a methodology for assessing the intellectual capital of business communities (and/or other similar economic systems), which are characterized by unclear connections between input and output parameters, significant difficulties in the formalization of influencing factors, the possibility of using linguistic expressions experts to build the system, etc. An economic mechanism for managing the intellectual capital of the "Board" business community in conditions of digitalization has been developed, which belongs to the category of "nodal management models" and is built according to the criteria of projects of digital transformation of the economy. The basis of this economic mechanism for managing the intellectual capital of the "Board" business community is a hybrid neuro-fuzzy system, which is built on the basis of expert evaluation and can be considered as a "digital project" that has such properties as functionality, quality, and visualization of data.
